Swiss-American drummer Jojo Mayer grew up with a crocodile in his living room, spent his childhood on several continents and has been playing drums ever since he learnt how to sit upright. Today, Mayer is one of the most celebrated drummers worldwide, yet remains largely unnoticed by the mainstream music industry. For plausible reasons: to this day, his life has been an radical quest for new music, new ideas and ways to understand the time we live in - regardless of obstacles and consequences.
